People in Shanghai are finally allowed to go to offices, shopping and do exercises on their own. Some restrictions still remain:  Bars can open but not allowed to serve alcohol; Health clubs remain closed, and so on. It will take at least a month for businesses in Shanghai to return to normal as many migrant workers have left the town.  


A reporter working at government controlled TV station went to interview a city resident on a subway train. When the woman started complaining about the hardship of being locked in her own apartment for over 2 months, the reporter moved away the microphone so that the woman's voice would not be heard.  Selective editing done on the air!




Officially zero-Covid policy remains in place. Nobody can challenge the official policy in China.
